This is a BIG BUNDLE that contains my three sets of play-dough mats. Eighty-six pages of hands-on fun with numbers, letters, and sight words!
The following is a description of each set. Please feel feel to check out this individual sets for a more detailed description, or to order them individually.
* Set 1 - LETTERS --- each letter of the alphabet has a mat with outlines of the capital and lowercase letters for children to fill in with play-dough. Each of these mats also has a sentence using alliteration of the letter. Students can either make smaller play-dough letters or use a dry-erase marker to write the letters in. These are great for literacy centers. When kids finish the play-dough mats, they could illustrate the sentence on a piece of paper and create a book with using these sentences.
* Set 2 - NUMBERS --- This set has a page for each of the numbers 1-10 where the students can fill in the number outlines with playdough. These pages also have shapes on them to correspond with the number. There are pages in this set that give students story problems to illustrate with play-dough, as well as opportunities for students to create their own story problems.
* Set 3 - SIGHT WORDS --- This set contains pages for the 15 most common sight words in the English language. There are two pages for each of these sight words. The first of these pages contains outlines of the letters in the sight word. The students can make these letters out of play-dough and lay them over the outlines. Underneath these outlines are lines for the students to write (or shape) the sight word on their own. The second page has a sentence that uses the sight word. The sentence is written out once first, then it is written with the sight words in a traceable font for the students to write in the word, then the whole sentence is written in a traceable font, then there are lines for the students to write the sentence independently.
