Description

SET 1 & SET 2

Struggling to teach rhetorical devices and logical fallacies? It can be hard! This is an easy, colorful, and fun way to practice the definitions, purposes, and examples of the following terms:

  • Rhetorical Devices such as:
    • Direct Address
    • Rhetorical Question
    • Analogy
    • Juxtaposition

  • Logical Fallacies such as:
    • Loaded Language
    • Sweeping Generalizations
    • Circular Reasoning
    • Bandwagon Appeal

These could easily be converted to task cards or matching cards if desired! These flash cards helped my students truly understand what these terms are and how they are used in arguments!
