Kindness is the act of speaking or behaving in a way that shows caring and love. You can be kind to people, places or things. Kindness is love in action.
When you are kind to others, you use gentle hands for touch, and a gentle voice for speech. Kindness can be demonstrated no matter how you are feeling. Kindness is a universal symbol of love.
Self-esteem is how you feel about yourself. When you believe in your capabilities, and believe you have the right to be treated with respect and kindness, you have high self-esteem.
Being mindful is about being in the present moment. When we are afraid or stressed, we can move out of the present moment and into the past or the future and create stress about 'what might happen.'
Solutions and the ability to learn are not found in stress, but in peace. Being mindful and accepting things 'are as they are', supports us in letting go of what we cannot change, allows solutions to come to us, and feel better about ourselves.
