This BUNDLED product is a goldmine of word work activities . There are 4 sets of CVC picture cards in color with 112 individual cards in each set..

That is a BUNCH of WORD WORK ACTIVITY CARDS!

They now also include 3 different student blackline response sheets for each differentiated set of word work cards. I use these as quick formative assessments or as just student accountability during Daily 5 Word Work.

Set 1: All 3 letters are missing in a CVC word with a picture. Children need to blend the sounds and place the corresponding letter tiles, magnetic letters or write with a dry erase marker in each box on their card. Also includes 3 different student response sheets.

Set 2: Medial vowel sound is missing in a CVC word with a picture. Children pick letter tiles, magnetic letters, or write in dry erase marker to fill in the missing vowel space on their card. Also includes 3 different student response sheets.

Set 3: Initial sound is missing in a CVC word with a picture. Children pick letter tiles, magnetic letters, or write with dry erase marker to fill in the missing initial sound space on their card. Also includes 3 different student response sheets.

Set 4: Final sound is missing in a CVC word with a picture. Children pick letter tiles, magnetic letters, or write with dry erase marker to fill in the missing final sound space on their card. Also includes 3 different student response sheets.

TIP for USE: I use letter tiles or magnetic letters but you can also laminate and have students use dry erase markers...with this I put a pack of baby wipes in each word work basket. When time is up to switch Daily 5 rotations, students begin wiping off their word work cards and then their "table" team helps them after putting away their own Daily 5 materials. It's so EASY and QUICK....with correct modeling of procedures....my students have it down pat in about a minute....which is perfect timing to then get rotating to their next Daily 5 Rotation.
