This is a bundle for 3 resources listed separately in my store. The 1 page fraction review gets your students ready to simplify trig identities. Many students struggle with the fraction aspect of trig identities and they forget when to get a common denominator and when to just multiply straight across.
The next 3 page worksheet walks them through translating back and forth between the identities and sin/cos. Then, they work on rearranging the Pythagorean identities. After that, students simplify one and two step problems where all they have to do is convert to sine and cosine and cancel.
The last 2 pages are the best part of this bundle. Students will look for the hints on the left column as to what to do with the problems. For example, it will tell them the first step to solving a trig identity is to convert everything to sin and cos. Then, students should look at the problem to decide if they are adding fractions, multiplying, etc. Once they understand the problem type, they should be able to understand how to solve and simplify the trig identity.
This product works great as a group activity, classwork, or homework.
In total this product is 6 pages of worksheets and 6 pages of answer keys.
