Included are 5 center activities that will welcome your students back to school.
The center activities are:
Summer Memories Center — In this center the students write down their summer memories on the worksheet provided. Example included. Great as a bulletin board display!
School Year Wishes Center — In this center the students write down their wishes for the upcoming school year. Once they complete the stars have them color and cut out. Place them on a bulletin board with a dark background. These stars become shining reminders of your student’s goals/wishes. Example included.
Newsletter Center — In this center the students complete a newsletter that will tell you and their classmates a little about who they are. Example included. Great as a classroom display!
Getting To Know Me Center — In this center the students learn more about each other by spinning the spinners. Two spinners are included. You can have your students play the “My Favorite Things” spinner or the “I Would Like To” spinner. Print out the spinner and arrows of your choice on card stock, Laminate for durability. Puncture a hole in the middle of the spinner and arrow. Secure with a brass fastener. Directions and example are included.
Letter To The Teacher Center — In this center the students write a letter to you. Two versions are included. The first version can be used for your younger writers and the second version for your older writers.
