Day 1: Introduction of the Five Senses
Introduce the 5 senses using the monkey on the front cover. As you introduce each body part the arrows point to, ask the student what that body part does, and then they color that arrow.
Briefly introduce the puzzle pieces (on page 7) by saying the name of each object. Tell the students they will be helping Monkey put the puzzle pieces in their books throughout the week.

Ask students what Monkey might hear in the classroom. (Music.) Students cut and glue the music note (from page 7) on page 2.
Make observations as a class to complete the bottom portion of the page. Students draw pictures and label.

Krazy for Kindyland crafts are designed with efficiency in mind, as I certainly understand the KrAzY schedule of a teacher! Craft pieces are also designed to use as much paper space as possible, as conservation is another constant thought on the busy teacher’s mind. Depending on the craft, you might choose to slightly enlarge the pieces based on the needs of your students/the time of the school year you complete your craft, and/or your preferences. It is helpful to have students lay out their plan before gluing. Krazy for Kindyland crafts are compiled into value packs, so be sure to check those out before downloading individual products among the same theme.

Be sure to leave feedback, as you earn credits on Teachers Pay Teachers! This will allow for you to get even more goodies for your classroom full of cuties!
