Back to School – Name Writing Craftivity- We hope you enjoy this cute activity! It’s great for name writing, as well as developing fine motor skills through cutting and pasting. It’s quite open ended and has many possibilities for you to put your own spin on the decorating process.
This is a Powerpoint file designed for you to duplicate the number of slides required to create name plates for your entire class!
Here’s how you do it:
Step One: Start by typing in the first female name on your grade list into the text box that says 'text here' (make sure it has the little girl at the top!)
Step Two: Select the slide and click on ‘New Slide – Duplicate Selected Slides’.
Step Three: Delete the name you wrote and replace with the next student name on your list.
Step Four: Continue duplicating slides until you have made name plates for all the girls and repeat the process for the boys. Now you’re ready to print!
Ready for the fun bit? Decide how you will decorate and make them bright and colourful for your classroom. They make a lovely display for early in the year!
We would love to see what you come up with. If you are on Instagram, please share photos with us @clever_poppit_resources. Follow us to see how ours turn out when we return to school very soon. I think I will be using glittery foam squares around the edge of my name plates.
Please let us know what you think of this activity by leaving us feedback!
Enjoy having some crafty fun with your little poppits!
