Two fun and engaging activities to use on the first week of school or after winter break and spring break to go over procedures and rules! Your students will enjoy these interactive activities! Your students will no longer sit at their desks and listen to you lecture until their ears pop! This activity includes a memory matching game and an interactive PowerPoint activity.
Memory Matching Game
Are you looking for a new way to review classroom rules, procedures, and your course syllabus? Your students will have a blast playing this game instead of listening to a lecture or reviewing a PowerPoint. The students will have the opportunity to find the matches, write notes on them, and discuss with the teacher. All cards are text editable except the titles on the 18 cards. This activity includes the following:
Half Sheet Game Cards: 18
Half Sheet Create Your Own Cards: 3
Note Taking Sheets: 2
Let's face it; we all have experience boring back to school lectures of rules and procedures. Well, your students can now participate in the lecture! They will have the opportunity to pick a random image that will take them to a slide. When they reach that slide, they will write down where the slide took them as you go over the information on the slide like entering the room, exiting the room, rules, and more! Once they finish, you go back to the home slide, and your students select another random image! The fun is they will never know what will be discussed next.
The PowerPoint is text editable, so you can even make some of the images go to brain breaks or class prizes!
