Lunch Bag Interviews is a fun back to school activity that will involve your students in communication and listening skills. There are a total of 20 cards( both questions and statements) that students will use to interview one another.
Included in this product is
1 lesson plan
20 cards with clip art in black ink for easy copies
2 lunch bags with clip art 1 color ink and 1 black ink for the front of the lunch bag
4 blank cards for additional questions and statements that your students can write
on their own or in small groups.
Using a regular size lunch bag, students will cut and paste the picture on the bag.
Students will color, cut out the cards, and place them in their lunch bag. In groups of 2, they can begin their interviews. Each student will choose a card from their partner’s bag and answer the question or complete the given statement.
With younger students, questions can be read to them in small groups. An idea that works for the younger students is to invite an older class to do this activity with them. Each younger student is put with an older student to complete the interview.
Using the blanks (black ink for easy copies) is a great way to implement the practice of writing sentences and questions.
I hope your students enjoy this back to school activity! Thank you for visiting my store, and look for more new products, and freebies.
