-2 Truths and a Whopper
Individual and whole class activity! You’d be surprised how much you learn about your students, and how much they learn about each other!
-A is for...
Individual and partner activity! Students work together to match up letter and picture puzzle pieces. There are 52 puzzle pieces in all – enough for your whole class to do twice!
-All About Me and You
Partner and whole class activity! Students answer 8 questions about themselves, then they ask another student the same questions. This is a great “Getting to know you” activity!
-Back to School Bingo
Whole class activity! This Bingo game has 4 different Bingo templates filled with 16 school words and colorful pictures. Everyone loves a good game of Bingo!
-Come to the Line
Whole class activity! This game was inspired by the movie “Freedom Writers.” This is a great game for your students to learn what they have in common with other kids in their class!
Individual activity! Students draw a line from the autumn picture to the correct word.
-Fill in the Missing Letter
Individual activity! Students look at the autumn picture and fill in the missing letter of the word on the line.
-Me to Tree
Whole class activity! This is a quick and colorful activity that everyone participates in. This makes a great decoration or bulletin board centerpiece for your classroom!
-One Friend, One Square
Individual/whole class activity! Students walk around classroom and try to find a student that matches the description in each box (16 boxes total). This is a great way for your students to learn more about their peers!
Individual activity! Students walk around classroom to collect certain school objects. This is a fun way for students to learn where certain school items are located in your classroom!
-The Scoop on my Summer
Individual activity! In this activity, students recall what they did during the summer. You can make it a bulletin board or a decoration in your classroom!
