Thank you for downloading the “All About me” File Folder
This resource includes pages that can be printed and then adhered to a file folder.
It is always so important to get to know our students, and understand their likes, dislikes and backgrounds. These facts help guide our therapy sessions, and can also serve as a template for our students to begin thinking about other people, and getting to know them. I love to use these “all about me” file folders during groups because it helps the students see their preferences compared to their peers. Having these folders out to reference during conversational activities can serve as prompts for our students to engage in social thinking.
Feel free to use however you see fit! The back of the folder contains a visual where the student can identify what general area they are working on in speech. I find these folders help give my student’s ownership over their speech goals, as well as help them figure out who they are and how they can relate to others.
