I love that anchor charts make learning visible. They serve as tools that students can refer to throughout their learning. They are even more powerful when you create them with your students. I have designed these interactive anchor charts with that idea in mind.
While teaching students your routines and procedures, you can fill in these anchor charts with the steps to complete each procedure. You can hang these around your classroom as visual reminders. Take them down, when your students have the steps down. You may want to make smaller versions of some to hang all year. I especially like to do that with the centers ones.
These have saved me so much time in that I don't have to draw out the graphics of the anchor chart prior to the lesson. I can just print, piece together, and go!
I print a large one in poster size, which can be done from any printer at home or at school. Directions for doing this are included. The poster will print on four sheets of paper that you piece together. Or you can print the poster as an 8 1/2 x 11.
I have included three color options for you to choose from: rainbow, cool colors, and black.
