This is another way to get to know your students for the first few weeks of school. Each student has to write a "blog post" about their selves (what they look like, what they like to do in their spare time, etc.). While each student is sharing their blog post, other students may write a "comment" on the pieces that can be cut out. I have one student share at a time. After the student is done sharing, the rest of the students may choose to make a comment about the post. These comments will be given to the student to glue onto the bottom of their paper. They may make comments like, "I love the color blue, too!" or "My favorite pet is a dog, also!" This is a great way to help students find similarities among their classmates.
