Back to School Brown Bag Activity for Google Classroom

Give your students an exciting way to introduce themselves at the beginning of the year to you and their classmates through this engaging activity that is sure to spark their interest! This digital twist on a popular back to school brown bag activity is perfect for distance learning.

Your students will have the chance to choose 6 items that are important to them. Next they can take a picture of the item, upload it to the slide, and write why the item is special to them. Also included is a reflection sheet where they can write about their favorite item, what item they had in common with their friend, as well as an item they want to know more about.

You will receive a Google Slides copy of the Digital Brown Bag Activity. You will also receive a PDF of the teacher directions. These directions show you how to upload images, delete slides, as well as how to convert the Google slide into a PowerPoint if that is the platform you prefer to use!
