Ready to Learn
I suggest printing the signs, placing them on tag board, and laminating them. I use rings to attach the signs together in the order listed above. Hang the chart in a place where students’ can easily access it with minimal disruption. Each child is given a clothespin with their name on it. At the start of each day all students clothes pins are clipped to the “Ready to Learn” section of the chart. Students are asked to move their clips up and down throughout the day depending on their behavior choices. This is a great way to motivate positive classroom behavior while still holding accountable those who make poor choices. When used consistently and positively, you will see students striving to be their best!
