Product Description
This Back to School Minimal Prep Packet has three engaging, fun, and differentiated resources that will get your students excited about learning! The 3 activities in this packet can be used for morning work, homework, group work, centers and more!

The best part is that there is MINIMAL PREP! Only the All About Me banners need to be cut out, and your students can do that part! You simply print and go!

This packet includes the following printables:

All About Me Banner These two Back to School About Me Banners are the perfect way for your students to get to know each other better. Both banners are designed with 3rd – 5th graders in mind. Students will want to decorate the design elements included on this attractive banner.

Word Searches I have included two word searches are included in this resource as well. One is easier than the other. In the first word search students only need to find the words vertically or horizontally, but in the second word search students also need to find words in a diagonal line. This will help you differentiate in your classroom.

Compound Word Puzzles Compound words make up a large part of the English language. The differentiated puzzles in this resource will help students understand that many long words are easy to read once they are broken into small, distinct parts. One set of words has two word parts to make-up a compound word. The other set of compound words has three word parts to make-up the whole word. I created 2 sets of directions for each compound word activity. I also included a page with the definitions for the challenge set of compound words. Additionally, for each compound word puzzle, one worksheet requires students to place their answers in alphabetical order, and the other set does not. This will help you differentiate in your classroom.
