School Supplies This reader focuses on the sight word "the", beginning sounds, main idea/details, and school supply vocabulary. For the response activity, students will draw four details to match the main idea. They will look at pictures, identify the school supplies, and cut and paste them into a school scene. They will also identify pictures of school supplies and write the letter that matches its beginning sound.

A Classroom This reader focuses on the sight word "a", beginning sounds, main idea/details, and classroom vocabulary. For the response activity, students will draw four details to match the main idea. They will look at pictures, identify which can be found in a classroom, and cut and paste them into a classroom scene. They will also identify classroom pictures and write the letter that matches its beginning sound.

I Like School This reader focuses on the sight words "I" and “like”, writing an opinion, writing a sentence, and school vocabulary. For the response activity, students will draw a picture of something they like at school, trace the sentence starter, and complete the sentence with assistance. They will also read partial sentences from the text, write the missing sight word, trace the rest of the sentence, and read the sentences to a partner.

Counting at Lunch This reader focuses on number words 1-5, beginning sounds, main idea/details, and lunch vocabulary. For the response activity, students will draw four details to match the main idea. They will count groups of pictures and cut and glue number words to match. They will also identify pictures of lunch foods and write the letter that matches its beginning sound.

Crayon Colors This reader focuses on the sight words I, see, a, color words, and writing an opinion. The text features dotted color words, which students can trace in the matching color. For the response activity, students will draw a picture of something that is their favorite color, trace the sentence starter, and complete the sentence with assistance. Students will also trace color words and color crayons to match.

I Can Draw This reader focuses on the sight words I, can, a, beginning sounds, writing a sentence, and animal vocabulary. For the response activity, students will think of something they can draw, draw it on an easel, trace the sentence starter, and complete the sentence with assistance. They will also identify pictures of animals and write the letter that matches its beginning sound.

At School This reader focuses on the sight words I, can, writing a sentence, main idea/details, and school vocabulary. For the response activity, students will draw four details to match the main idea. They will also think of something they can do at school, draw a picture, trace a sentence starter, and complete the sentence with assistance.

My Teachers This reader focuses on the sight word "my", sorting, main idea/details, and school subject vocabulary. For the response activity, students will draw four details to match the main idea. They will look at pictures of different teachers and cut and paste them into the correct classroom scene.

Recess This reader focuses on the sight words I, can, main idea/details, writing a sentence, and recess vocabulary. For the response activity, students will draw four details to match the main idea. They will also think of something they can do at recess, draw a picture, trace a sentence starter, and complete the sentence with assistance.

Snack TIme This reader focuses on the sight words "I" and “like”, writing an opinion, main idea and details, beginning sounds, and snack vocabulary. For the response activity, students will draw a picture of something they like to eat at snack, trace the sentence starter, and complete the sentence with assistance. They will draw four details to match the main idea. They will also identify pictures of snack foods and write the letter that matches its beginning sound.
