Back to School - Fact or Fiction Writing Activity

This low-prep back to school writing activity is a perfect way to engage your students on the first day back after the holidays! Students need to write three things that they did on the holidays, with one being made up! They can then take turns working with a partner to read their recounts, trying to guess which event is fact and which is fiction.
