Print it on cardstock (4 per page), and attach a small craft bag containing the following items:

- a Life Saver
- a Band-Aid
- a tissue
- a chocolate Hershey hug
- a sticker
Also included, you will find helpful forms to use during “Meet Your Teacher Night”:
✔ EDITABLE Brochure

✔ EDITABLE Welcome Sign
: Type your name and place by the door. It provides quick instructions about signing in, completing the transportation information, and grabbing a Scavenger Hunt sheet. This way if you are busy with other visitors, parents can get started without waiting for you.
✔ EDITABLE Sign in sheet
(to keep record of who showed up), just type your name and date. Color and black and white.
✔ Transportation sheets
- My child will be a parent pick up
- My child will ride the bus
- My child will attend a day care program
- All in one: use this sheet if you prefer, instead of three separate ones.
(Attach each form to a clip board, and instruct parents or guardians to fill out accordingly).
✔ EDITABLE Scavenger Hunt
: parents help their children to find the important areas in the classroom such as the bathroom, mailboxes, pencil sharpener, sink, cubbies, etc.) Edit to match the areas in you classroom you want your students to get acquainted with before the big day.
✔ EDITABLE School Supply List
(with headings for Kindergarten, First, Second, and Third grades).
✔ EDITABLE Wish List
(with headings for Kindergarten, First, Second, and Third grades): use this sheet to ask donations for all those items you cannot include in your school supply list (wiggly eyes, cardstock, color copy paper, construction paper, etc.)
✔ “In a Million Words or Less” sheet
: ask parents to take this home and write any information or important details they need to share with you about their children. Students return this form filled out on the first week of school. I found this tool extremely helpful. Usually, parents take this opportunity to write about their child’s personality, what they like or dislike, and anything they think you should know beyond the basic information.
Wish Upon a Star activity: Copy the provided pattern on color paper, and ask parents to write their wishes to their children for the new school year. On the first day of school, you can read the notes to children, and then post them on your bulletin board.
You can take a look at the preview for more details.
