Use these great activities for ice breakers and get to know your new class in the process! This set includes 3 different short activities that students will love!
Find Someone Who is a game board that lists 30 different questions that classmates can answer. In this game the class mingles about the room and pairs up with a person that fits a description listed in one of the boxes. (ex. favorite color, number of siblings, etc.) This engages students and helps them find something they have in common with their new classmates.
Who Am I? is a guessing game that students can play as they start to learn about their classmates. You can read aloud all of the card and have the class guess who the card belongs to or have the whole class stand until you say a characteristic that does not describe them. The last person standing is the mystery person. Students are able to see what they have in common in this game.
The last activity, Two Truths and a Lie, is a fun and quick time-filler that has students write 3 unique things about them, one being a lie. Students can guess which student the card belongs to and which statement is false.
I hope you and your students enjoy these fun activities! :)
