Back to School Glyph: This Year Will Rock!

Included in this pack you will find everything you need to transform your students into Rockstars!

Have your students brainstorm “why this year will rock”. What are they most excited about? What are their goals for this year? You can decide if these need to be school related or just general. They can write about new friends, what they will learn and what they hope to accomplish.
Next have your students complete the glyph. Everything you need is included except for the hair. You can have your students add their hair color with colored yarn or construction paper. Another option is to take a picture of each student and print their faces as circles with a 3 in. diameter. This is the option I chose but I know that this requires extra time and who has that at the beginning of the year!? :)
As students finish up their glyph have them begin the writing portion.


Included in this product are writing pages for each grade level with grade level appropriate lines, spacing and room for a picture at the primary level.
