Parent-Teacher communication is important. If you're a new teacher, or just a teacher needing to compile a handbook with helpful information for parents, this back-to-school handbook is a good resource to help you develop your own. I've attached the one I used for the second grade, but it can be revised and adjusted to fit all grade levels. It gives ideas of what you need to include and communicate to your parents contact information, attendance requirements, homework and classroom expectations, accelerated reader program info, etc. Just edit and fill in what applies to you, your school, and your classroom to make it your own.
