I love using Interactive Math Notebooks but kept finding myself frustrated with how much cutting and gluing was involved, especially at the beginning of the year! At the beginning of the year, I want my students to practice getting into the routine of math notebooks; the more complicated stuff can come later.
I designed these pages to be essentially no prep. They are formatted to fit into standard composition notebooks so some quick trimming around the edges will make it so they can easily be glued into notebooks or stapled, if you prefer. But that's it... no student cutting, gluing or even folding!
There should be more than enough pages in here to last through the first 3 weeks of school. I have included activities for the beginning of kindergarten/review for first grade, including numbers to 10, patterns, counting and writing, graphing, color words, shapes and following directions.
I hope you and your students like it... be sure to check out my store
for other products! Plus, my math toolkits
would be a great addition to these notebooks!
