Letter Identification Activity
Using a Scoot is a fun way to practice letter identification skills while moving around the classroom.
This Scoot includes uppercase and lowercase letter identification task cards, a recording sheet and answer keys. You can also practice handwriting skills or matching uppercase to lowercase letters with this Scoot.
You can use the letter identification task cards to play Scoot or to review letter identification during guided reading groups.
Common Core Connection:
RF.K.1d Recognize and name all upper- and lowercase letters of the alphabet.
RF.K.3a Demonstrate basic knowledge of one to one letter sounds correspondences by producing the primary sound for each consonant.
RF.K. 3b Associate the short and long vowel sounds for the five major vowels.
