Product Description
These activities are perfect if you have a magnet center in your classroom. I have an oil drip pan on a wall where my students can complete magnetic activities.

This pack includes 5 different activities with a Back to School theme to use in your magnet center. All activities are included in a B and W version as well if you are looking to save on ink.

Color Sorting Apples:
-Use magnetic tape to put up the color words on your magnet board
-Place magnets on the back of each apple card and place in a container nearby.
-Students look at the color of each apple and place them under the correct color word.
-Use the B&W version and color in yourself to save on color ink.

Tens Frame Match Up (0-10):
-Use magnetic tape to put up the tens frame school buses on your magnetic board.
-Place magnets on the back of each number card and place in a container nearby. (or you could vice versa the bus and number cards if you’d prefer)
-Students look at the number on the card and place it next to the school bus with the correct tens frame.
-Use the B&W version and color in yourself to save on color ink.

Alphabet Books:
-Cut the books with letters in half.
-Use magnetic tape to put the capital letter half of the book on your magnet board.
-Place magnets on the back of each lowercase half of the book and place in a container nearby.
-Students match the letters to put the book together.
-Use the B&W version and color in yourself to save on color ink.

Apple Shape Sorting Tree:
-Place magnetic tape on the back of each tree and place on your magnet board.
- Place magnetic tape on the back of each apple shape and place in a container nearby. **I recommend using a stronger magnet than what you put on the back of the tree if you have used the magnetic tape**
- Students sort the apples onto the correct tree by their shape.
- Use the B & W version and color in yourself to save on color ink!

Pencil Size Sorting:
- Place magnetic tape on the back of the short and tall labels.
- Place magnetic tape on the back of each pencil and place in a container nearby.
- Students sort the pencils by their size and place then under (or above) the short and tall labels.
- Use the B & W version and color in yourself to save on color ink!
