Description
Make math FUN with these 1st grade math riddles and jokes, PERFECT for BACK TO SCHOOL!! This packet was designed for the beginning of 1st grade but can also be used as remediation or enrichment for Kindergarten or 2nd grade classrooms throughout the year as well. There are a total of 10 riddles/jokes in this pack. Answer keys are also included!!
Students are presented with a joke/riddle and must solve the math problems in order to learn the answers. For example:
Q: What do librarians use when they go fishing?
A: bookworms
Q: What always falls but never gets hurt?
A: rain
These sheets are great for practicing math skills and demonstrating mastery. Your students are sure to love them!!
The following skills are covered in this packet:
(4) Mixed Addition to 10 (with a number line included)
(1) Counting objects to 10
(1) Counting objects to 20
(4) Counting to 100 (1-25, 26-50, 51-75, 76-100)
