Middle School Back to School Ice-Breaker: Are you ready to head back to school?! Need a low-pressure, easy to implement ice breaker your students will LOVE?! This ice breaker works with ANY population - and it's editable! Designate four areas of your room with letters A, B, C, and D. Display PowerPoint that asks students questions about themselves - What's their least favorite chore? Favorite soda? Preferred footwear? Birth order? Four answer options are given for each question. Without talking, students move to the area of the room that has the letter of their answer. Everyone is UP, PARTICIPATING, and NO-ONE has to talk! EASY PREP! This ice-breaker is a HIT every year! Add or delete slides as needed

Also included: As you're setting up for the ice-breaker (hanging up signs and pulling up the PowerPoint), have students fill out this letter from them to you! Gain valuable insight into your new students! What are they good at? Who are their friends? What do they wish they were good at? Print-and-go.

Enjoy! Have a great school year!
