A monstrous twist after the holidays!
Get your little monsters to reimagine their holidays and describe what a monstrous time they had with the Monster Me creative writing workbook.
Includes traceable monster letters that can be used to create monster names. Students trace the letters of their own name and then select a monster-suffix (e.g. Tom is now Tomosaurus).
They can their cut out the letters of their monster-name and stick them onto the first page of their workbook and enhance it with some extra designs and patterns.
The workbook includes additional tasks for each day of the week that are designed to stimulate creative thinking. Each challenge can be written or drawn into their workbook.
~ Think of where you live and then make it MONSTROUS! Add scary, stinky and strange things. Weird noises and horrible crawlies.
~ Take your favourite food and now make it DISGUSTING!
Describe how it looks, how it tastes, what it feels like and how much it STINKS!!
~ Make a list of the things you love to do and then make notes of how a monster would do them. For example a monster reads a book by turning the pages with their stinky toes...
~ Think of some of your best memories from the holidays. Now imagine doing them again but monster style! Tell us what monster adventures you got up to during the holidays...
~ Draw a picture of you - monster style! What different shapes are you? What do you feel like? Do you have horns, a tail, feet, teeth, hair, scales? Are you leaking with slime? How disgusting is your smell?
You can also use the Monster Letters for your class displays. Includes uppercase and lowercase typefaces with special monster letters in capitals.
