Set the board game in front of your students and then sort the crayon cards by color. Place the stack of cards next to their matching big crayon (i.e. blue cards by the blue crayons, red cards by the red crayons etc.) The players pick a game token and place them on a big crayon of their choice to start. The players do not have to start at the same place, but can be spread throughout the board.
To play, the player rolls the dice and moves that many spaces. If they land on a little crayon, they pick up the matching card (i.e. blue crayon, pick up a blue crayon card). They answer the question, and then the card sits in front of them. If they land on the BIG crayon, they can steal a card of their choice from another player. The goal is to collect all six colors of crayons. The first one to get one of every color wins the game!
