Looking for a fun way to review intervals with your music students? In this engaging game, your students will strengthen their note reading skills while they are racing you to school. The harder the question, the more spaces they will move! This game reviews intervals from 2nds to 8ths. Your entire music studio will love this game! To see the board or the questions in greater detail, click on the preview button above.
Give each player a game board and some tokens (glass pebbles from the dollar store work perfectly). Place the cards in a stack between the players. The first player will draw a card and name the interval. If they get the answer correct, they place that number of tokens on their board (i.e for a 2nd, you’d place 2 stones, for a 5th, five stones, etc.) For advanced players, you can have them remove that number if they get the answer wrong. The first one to reach the schoolhouse and fill all of their circles wins the game!
