Looking for a fun way to reinforce finger numbers?
This Back to School themed finger number matching game is perfect for your February piano lessons! Easy to cut out and quick to play, this game will help your students learn their finger numbers in a flash! Included are RH and LH picture cards and numbers 1-5 in pink, blue and green, as well as matching optional card backs.
Finger Number Matching Game- Lay all the cards in front of the student, face down. Taking turns, flip two cards over at a time. Continue until all the cards are matched. The player with the most number of matches wins the game.
Simon Says- Place all the cards either in a stack or in a bag/box. Draw a card one at a time and follow the other player’s instructions, e.g. “Simon Says put your (2) on A.” Play until you have used all the cards.
Scavenger Hunt- Scatter all the cards around the room- have the student race to find the cards and bring them back to you. For more advanced students, have them match the cards. Less advanced, have them identify the cards as they hand them back to you.
