The digital resource "Summer's Over Back to School" will work on your internet browser, tablet, interactive white boards, PC's or Mac's and it has everything you need to start the year off right. You will LOVE how easy it is to implement the detailed lesson plans!

A perfect original speech to teach to your elementary music students anytime - beginning of the year or months later! Choose the interactive slides that correspond to the curriculum you are currently addressing with your students regarding rhythm: quarter notes/quarter rest, quarter notes/eighth notes, eighth notes/quarter rest, sixteenth notes, 1 eighth/2 sixteenths or 2 sixteenths/1 eighth. Your students will love the engaging activities.

The set of Lesson Plans and interactive slides include:

• 4 lessons each 6-12 minutes (4 pdf pages) plus an original speech. The lesson plans include detailed instructions for teaching the speech, rhythmic activities, mixer dance and instruments to Second - Fifth Grade (First Grade with adaptions). Adaptions and extensions are also addressed. An adaption of the A section ("Break is Over") is provided so you can use the activities later on in the year to review the rules.

• 26 visuals (with 20 slides being teacher and/or student interactive) may be used to reinforce rhythmic. You will have everything you need to teach all the lessons for Summer's Over" or "Break is Over": shared links for the Web Version, PPT file or an EXE file for immediate access to the visuals. (Please note, you are not charged for any duplicated slides which help facilitate the teaching process). A pdf document of the posters of the rules are also included if you wish to display them in your classroom with an editable page so you can add additional rule(s) if needed.

It is an excellent piece to address curricular concepts while enjoying making music starting the first day of class.
