I developed this product after having a successful Meet-the-Teacher night where many parents asked if I needed anything. At the time, I was too busy meeting and greeting, so I politely said "Oh, I'm sure we'll be fine." But, as school began I needed office supplies. So the following year, I created my Donation Tree. When parents asked if I needed anything or if they could help in any way, I said, “Thank you for offering, we would love it if you could help grow our classroom supplies by donating an item from our Donation Tree.” Parents took a tag from the tree and returned their product on the first day of school. It was a great reminder!
I punched holes in the circles and tied a black and white polka-dot ribbon through the hole and placed the circles on a table top Christmas tree (unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures). I used the half-page “Help Us Bloom” to make a table tent and placed it in front of the tree. If you don't have a tree, this display was made so that you could simply put tape on the back of the circles and put them on a chalkboard or whiteboard.
This file is editable so you can add as many supplies as you wish. Included in this file is a color and black & white ink saver version.
