Back to school must have!
Use this activity during your school’s open house or at the beginning of your school year.
Students play a scavenger hunt game by finding essential classroom locations and explaining their purpose. Use during open house and have students guide their parents to the locations! For example, students can take their parents to the class behavior chart and explain what each color indicates or the classroom library and explain how its organized.
You choose each location or use the predetermined 13 places.
Students match the letter they find at the location to the numbered description on the scavenger hunt card. When students complete the scavenger hunt they uncover a hidden message.
Teacher directions included. Scavenger hunt cards can be printed 2 per page.
Editable PowerPoint file or use as is tomorrow! Black and White & Color Versions provided.
