This game is great for spicing up drill work. It can be used in speech therapy or the general ed. setting. Articulation, synonyms, categorization, sight words, multiplication, you name it!

Preparation: Print the card pages on cardstock and laminate for extra durability. I suggest printing a few copies of each sheet of cards. Cut out the cards along the dotted line, toss them in a bucket, and you’re ready to play!

Directions: After the student has produced the desired target, have him/her draw a card from a bucket/bag. If it is a “Ready to learn” card, they get to keep the card and the next player takes a turn. There are also cards that make a student put back all their cards and cards to receive an extra turn. Students continue to practice the target skill while drawing cards until the designated time is up. Whoever has collected the most cards at the end of the game is the winner!
