A Back to School Scavenger Hunt is the perfect way to get to know your students and teach them the rules and procedures. Your students will love traveling around the classroom and school looking for clues to complete this hunt. The Back to School Scavenger Hunt includes 14 clues as well as a Recording Sheet and a Coding Sheet. The first clues will allow students to share a little about themselves. The last set of clues gets your students moving throughout the building. This allows them to see where things are located throughout the school AND learn the procedures and rules for each place that you visit.

How can I use this product in my classroom?
Prior to doing this scavenger hunt with your students, copy and place the clues in your classroom and school building. (Directions are in the packet.) I like to provide my students with a prize at the end, so I purchase new pencils for each of my students. This is the perfect first day of school activity, but could be done at any point at the beginning of the school year.
