This is a fun scavenger hunt that allows you to get to know your students on the first day/week of school as they move around the classroom answering questions. There are 16 question stations that your new students will find and read before before answering each question on one of the provided answer sheets. The questions should be interesting for your students to answer and they will give you a lot of feedback and insight into the motivations and interests of your students.
This is not a quick scavenger hunt and doesn't need to be done all at once. It can be broken up into three different sessions to be used during the first day of school or on different days over the first week of school. Your students will appreciate getting out of their seats and moving around the classroom with purpose. Your students can also inform the class a bit about their lives by sharing some of their answers together with the class.
This scavenger hunt includes three answer sheets and sixteen question stations to be taped up around the classroom. The stations are provided in both color and black and white versions for those who do not have access to color printers.
