Want an engaging and fun get-to-know-you activity for the first few days of school? Here's a free student survey to hand out during Back To School Week to better understand your students and quickly assess their writing skills. This isn't a list of questions that students expect, but a fun list of questions to get to know students' unique personalities! My students love to answer these questions and share them. For example, I ask students to name the song they couldn't get out of their heads this summer.
