Getting to know your students quickly is crucial. It's also important that students learn about their peers they will be spending the next nine months with.
My students love these "back to school" activities." They're fun and engaging.
This download includes 3 fun activities:
- Use the "All About Me Alphabet" to talk about adjectives and descriptive words. This is a perfect activity for you to learn more about your students and a great treasure to save for an "All About Me" book.
- For the "Name-O," I give prizes, or tickets, to the first 3 winners. This is a fast-paced, exciting game for everyone.
- "Getting to Know Your Group" allows the children to work in small groups in order to learn more about their new classmates (I always allow time for groups to share what they've learned about their new friends).
