Start the school year off with these Back To School Activities! Use these to get to know your students as well as getting your students to interact with each other.

Activities;

1) Cover Page - students can colour and decorate. Use this if you want to bind the activities together to create a booklet

2) All About Me - These can be hung up on display, bound together as a class book or used in student portfolios. Comes in British and American Spelling

3) My Holidays - Students write about their holidays. Space to draw and write

4) Birthday Scavenger Hunt - Students ask around to discover who has a birthday in each month

5) Meet Your Class Scavenger Hunt - Two different versions. Students ask around to find out who likes what. A great way to break the ice!

6) Me & My Friend - Students fill out their hobbies and interests and then get their friend to note down theirs. This is a great way for students to explore differences in opinion

7) My Teacher - Students fill out a profile about their teacher. A great way to build rapport and discover common interests

8) My School - Students fill out a profile about their school

9) Class Rules - Can be used for students to draw and state 3 rules the class should have or 3 rules that they think are the most important

10) My talents - Students can either draw or write things that they are good at

11) Goals for the Year - Students can either draw or write their goals for the year

12) Things I want to learn about - Students draw or write about what they would like to learn about

13) My first day reflection - Students identify their feelings before and after their first day as well as reflect on what they did and what they liked the best
