Product Description
This is a birthday wall display I made for my classroom. There are twelve pages for the 12 months with one stick figure on each page and a small seasonal object at the bottom to help them associate when their birthday will be. I included a few extra hats at the bottom as some of the stick figures weren't very birthday looking, but I didn't want to put birthday kids in shorts on the winter months. I cut the hats out and used a glue stick to put them on the heads of the figures without hats before I laminated them. The cute stick kids clip art comes from Scrappin Doodles.
To make these, I printed them and then cut loosely around them and then mounted them on matching seasonal construction paper that was long enough to add a large index card underneath. I laminated them without the index cards. Next I went through my class list and wrote down the children's names and birthdays on 5x7 index cards (one card per month with birthdays in chronological order). Then I taped these cards to the monthly posters and hung up in order from January to December. I have a lot of cabinets so like to hang them straight across. The kids love finding their names on the cards.
