What to do? What to do? You and your friends need to have some BIG FUN!
If one of your group has a large Backyard and it wants to be filled with some BIG SUMMER FUN ~ how about planning and having a Backyard Fun Eco-Fair!?! You can always have a smaller Fair in a smaller backyard, too.
This Unit’s Project has everything you and your friends need to host an action-filled, BUNCH of Fun for everyone in the neighborhood.
After you get permission to throw this party, choose how many of the 18 games & booths you wish to include. Or make up your own.
Then, get to work planning, collecting , and organizing for this entertaining Neighborhood Event. Since it’s an “Eco-Fair” , expect to accept plenty of re-usable items to upcycle. Get creative.
And, since the Summer Solstice officially begins this month, I’ve, also, included your NatureWatchers’ Summer Journal, complete with its Book Cover and a Page Insert Template. The outside world is VERY happy right now!
Included in this June's CLAMDiggers Unit are:
- front & back covers for booklet use
- a thematic literature list of trade books
- a general lesson plan for reading comprehension of the reads
- (#) hands-on interactive activities with instructions written on an independent upper elementary level
You can utilize this unit as:
- whole group instruction
- small group instruction
- cooperative groups
- center time activities
- partner sharing
- independent study
