This is a worksheet I made that would address the vocabulary of the words the students were learning with bacteria. This is basic and middle school oriented - made when I first started teaching middle school.
It starts with a word search where students have the vocabulary that we have focused on in the notes. They are then to illustrate two words, define 4 and write a journal. The kids loved this and all seemed willing to do this because it had a puzzle on top. It increased their knowledge because they had to focus on applying the terms in illustration and in defining in their own words. the journal made them think about the concept and try to apply them to their life.
It allows for a quick and easy assessment of what they know.
Just like all of my other materials, this is editable for you to change as needed to meet the needs of your students.
