No one wants to send these home, however, sometimes we all have that student who isn't measuring up to his or her true potential and you want to respectfully relay the problem to the parent or guardians. This letter, while not always desired by the parent, is a kinder and gentler way to express your frustration with the parent and it doesn't usually ruffle the parents' feathers or put them on the offensive. Hoping that this helps you as it has helped me time and time again!
