This activity is a game that can be played whole group, with partners, or as a center, as a way to practice identifying missing numbers on a number chart.
-4 game board number charts (1-30, 31-60, 61-90, 91-120)
-poop game tiles (6 are needed to play)
-student answer sheet
TEACHER PREP SUGGESTION:
Laminate all game pieces.
HOW TO PLAY:
Students buddy up. Student one covers his/her eyes. Student two places 6 of the game tiles on different numbers on the board. Student one uncovers his/her eyes and grabs a recording sheet and expo marker to write down the missing numbers beside the matching pile of poop on the answer sheet. The students then remove the tiles to check their answers. Then the students reverse roles and the game continues. As students improve, they can level up to a more challenging game board.
