Bag Of Life (Introductory Version) - Lead Sustained, Substantive Conversations!
"Bag of Life" is my project-based approach to facilitating sustained, substantive conversations with friends, fans, and foes that are affirming, accepting, accountable - and sometimes authoritative.
You take a small bag (any bag), and fill it with these cards containing ...
1. FILL IN THE BLANK. Short, fill-in-the-blank statements like "I am afraid of _____."
2. 21 QUESTIONS. Questions like "What are your core values about money?"
Participants sit in a circle, and pass the bag to each person in the circle.
The bag holder becomes the moderator once they select their card.
Moderators answer the card's statements and questions honestly - with few words or several - and others respond.
This approach begins to reveal alignment (or lack thereof) between participant's thoughts.
This provides lots of LEarning and growth opportunities.
For maximum flexibility, the game cards are bundled in the following versions ...
1. FILL IN THE BLANK / 21 QUESTIONS - One card per page (103 cards total). To avoid printing expenses, purchasers may display the cards sequentially on a large computer monitor or smartboard.
2. FILL IN THE BLANK / 21 QUESTIONS - 10 cards per page, 11 pages (103 cards total). Purchasers must use a laser or inkjet printer to print their 103-card set on Avery 8371 perforated business card stock, which yields 10 cards per page.
