These writing prompts (picture prompts) will inspire your students to practice writing in Bahasa Indonesia in a fun way! You won't hear "I don't know what to write about" again.
Each page has a picture, prompt, and word bank to help students generate ideas. They can be used in a writing center, during writer's workshop, sub teachers work or as a homework activity.
Suggested Use:
For Younger Audience:
Take advantage of the black and white pictures. Let your students to colour the pictures and identify the colour in Indonesian language in their writing.
Older Audience:
Time your students, for example: 15-30 minutes, to write as many sentences as they could. Make students to read their writing out loud to the class so they can also practice both their speaking (when they read out) and listening (when they listen) skills. Ask questions based on the text read to test students' listening comprehension skill.
Alternatively, have students to check each other's writing prompts on grammar, spelling, and sentence structures.
