Students will practise using and converting improper and mixed fractions in the context of working with a recipe. Throughout the assignment, narration describes why each task is necessary and tells a little story. Students will:
1. Convert improper fractions into mixed numbers.
2. Convert mixed numbers into improper fractions.
3. Double a recipe (adding mixed numbers/improper fractions)
4. Subtract mixed numbers/improper fractions.
