Description

Get this worksheet and my whole store FREE! Use these 3 worksheets with answer keys to teach balancing charges and writing chemical formulas from names a better way. Students will often struggle with the idea of subscripts and when to use the subscripts in this section of chemistry.

This worksheet has them draw out the cation and anion and compare the charges. They will then add cations or anions depending on if they got a positive or negative number. Last, the students will draw out the charge balanced molecule and write the formula down.

This would be a great worksheet to use before teaching balancing chemical equations.

Use as classwork, homework, or as a group activity!
